Remembrance Day helps us pay tribute to the sacrifices made by military personnel who served their countries during times of war, as well as to acknowledge the courage, dedication, and heroism of those who have served and continue to serve in the armed forces.

So to remember our fallen heroes, part of all profits will be donated to the Royal British Legion.

A NOTE FROM The Artist

My reason for remembrance…

I’m artist Ben Cole and this print was created as a memorial to my Great Uncle Flight Sergeant Roswell Howard Tourle Martin.

Our family takes great pride in the sacrifice Great Uncle Ross made for us all. He enlisted at just 18 years of age, leaving behind his country, his parents, and a younger brother and sister, who he would never see again.

On the 27th July 1944, his Hawker Hurricane Mk.I dived into the ground at Merryton near Leek, while flying from Tern Hill on an aerobatics and sector reconnaissance exercise.

He shares his final resting place with other fallen heroes at the Royal Air Force Regional Cemetery in Blacon, Chester

His sacrifice will never be forgotten.
